Carolyn W. Parker Carolyn joined her husband in Heaven on Sunday March 19, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Max and Katie Jernigan Weill of Clio, S.C. After school and business school she went to work in Charlotte, N.C. It was in Charlotte that she met our Dad Carl E. Parker at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church. They were married at Pritchard in June 1955. While Carl continued his studies at N.C. State in Raleigh, N.C. Carolyn worked at N.C. State. They are survived by three children, Calvin, Carla and Cheryl. One son was stillborn. Also, there are six grandchildren, one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will take place on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Pat Summit Foundation or Second Harvest.
