Charles Eugene "Gene" Stevenson

Gene worked at Owens and Minor for 20 years as a control specialist. He grew up working with Tommy Everett at the Baptist Center helping the needy. He loved family with all his heart.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mandy Starnes; brother, Jackie (PeeWee) Stevenson; dad, Charles Stevenson; father-in-law "Dad", Bill Pate; grandparents, the Mortons and Stevensons; and aunt, Mary Morton.

Gene leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Kimberly Stevenson; son, Daniel Bundren; grandchildren, Angel, Zion, Faith, Keziah, Elijah, Josiah, Malachi, Jaxson, and Jazman; great-granddaughter, Alexandra; mother, Iva Jane Stevenson; sisters, Darlene Hawkins (Butch) and Teresa Stevenson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A gathering of friends and family for Gene will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919. A funeral service will occur at 2:00 PM with committal to follow in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Tommy Everett.
