

Clata Kaye Evans Chambers Rackard, affectionately known as "Momma Kaye" passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. Born in Jamestown, Tennessee, on February 1, 1926 she lived a full and vibrant life of 98 years.
A devout woman of faith, Kaye was a lifelong member United Concord Methodist Church since 1949. She also was an active member of the Farragut Eastern Star #459 and was involved in various community activities, including square dancing and bridge club. Kaye's legacy will be remembered through her strong faith, her warm smile, and her dedication of family and community.
Kaye was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by husbands, George W.
Rackard and Dick Chambers: her parents, Judge & Mrs. S.C. Evans; siblings, Olga Wood, Flossy Duncan, Opal Hall, Jean Dalton, Shirley Crouch and S.C. Evans (Perk); son, Richard Evans Chambers; son-in-law, Kieth G. Denman and great grandson, Logan Allen Aldridge.
Kaye is survived by daughter, Barbara Kaye Denman and daughter-in-law, Regina Chambers: grandchildren, Ginger Kaye (Marty) Stalans, Wendy Kaye Aldridge, Rick (Melissa) Chambers, Jason (Allison) Chambers, Mark (Marie) Chambers, Scott (Dawn) Denman and Cory Denman; 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
We appreciate the care and love that was received from the staff of Asbury Nursing Home (The Waters of Maryville) Blount Hospital and Blount County Hospice.
Receiving of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 12 noon at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2pm. Kaye will be laid to rest at 3pm inside Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
