
Clyde Terry, age 79, a native of Wartburg, died peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2016 at his home in Knoxville, while surrounded by family. Clyde was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and a loyal friend to many; who was an amateur cartoonist as well as a U.S. Army Veteran who served from 1953 – 1956 at Ft. Rucker, AL. He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 59 years Anna Mae Terry; 5 children, Carl Michael Terry and Melissa; Deborah Ann and husband Jim Ogle, Anita “Fatty” and husband Jeff Smith, Susan Diane and husband Michael Myers, Kathy Lynn and husband Tim Caudwell; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mescal McPeters, Geneva Scott and Martha Herd; and two faithful friends Needle and Sam. In keeping with Clyde’s wishes his body will be cremated and no services will be held.
