Corbit Otho Keesling Jr.

KEESLING, CORBIT O. – known by most as “Jr.” age 81 of Ball Camp Community had a little talk with Jesus and Jesus said “come home” Wednesday morning, November 16, 2011. Jr. was loved by all who knew him and was kind to everyone. He was a faithful member of Ball Camp Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his church and family. Jr. was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as an MP. He retired from TVA and ORNL. Preceded in death by parents, siblings, and grandson. Survived by wife of fifty-eight years Bobbie Irene; daughters Sharon Underwood (Allen), Vicky Smith and Cyndy Atkins (Steve), eight grandchildren, nineteen great- grandchildren, brothers Earl and Tommy Keesling, and a host of relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to special friend, Ernie Jennings, Angie Hyatt R.N.; caretaker Leilani Arthur; Drs. Grapski, Slutzker and Etezadi. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 pm at Weavers with chapel service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Ed Sunday-Winters officiating. Special music by Rev. Alan Smith. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Oak Ridge Memorial park for an 11 am interment.
