

He was an employee of Lazy-Boy Furniture Galleries on Kingston Pike for 30 plus years. David was also a volunteer for Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for 8 years, where he and his wife would go to different facilities to sing and perform. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and loved to roller skate, which was his lifelong passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Donald Dillingham and Laura Karbach and his grandson: Aiden Leonardo.
David was a loving husband, father and wonderful papaw. He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Beth Dillingham; children: Jennifer Dillingham (Richard Davis), Julie Mynatt (Gary Mynatt), Alicia Griffin (Bobby Griffin), Allen Berryhill (Ashley Stewart), Brandon Dillingham (Ariel Lowe), and Alexander Dillingham. Grandchildren: Chloe Davis, Ashley Solomon, Elizabeth Davis, Austin Mynatt, Erica Mynatt, Mason Mynatt, Isabella Mynatt, Laura Morey, Autumn Morey, Evan Morey, Sean Morey, Jonathan Hickman, James Hickman, Jeremiah Hickman and Sophia Dillingham. Great grandson: Grayson Solomon. Siblings: Ricky Dillingham (Kelly), Julie Richey (Jason) and Sherry Hamrick. Along with several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Yeary officiating.
