Oglesby, David Neal – age 64, of South Knoxville, passed away December 22, 2014 at home with his family by his side. He was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of South High School class of 1968. He was an employee of Kroger at Chapman Highway and former employee of Kern’s Bakery for 23 years. David was a kind person and never found fault in anyone. Preceded in death by father, George Albert Oglesby; and brother, Patrick Oglesby. He is survived by wife of 32 years, Martha K. Hood Oglesby; sons, Seth Neal Oglesby and Landon Brownlow Oglesby; mother, Willie Katherine Oglesby; brother, George Albert Oglesby, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Chapman Highway with Rev. Byron Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:30pm prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at Tarklin Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, December 28, 2014 for a 3:00pm interment.
