Don Harmon

Don Harmon, 82, of South Knoxville, Tennessee, went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was a lifelong member of Vestal Methodist Church. Don served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He retired from AT&T after 40 years of faithful service. Don was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Lelia Harmon; three sisters; one brother; daughter-in-law, Cindy Harmon. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jessie Harmon; children, Bob Harmon, Alisa (Chip) Sawyer; grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Vineyard, Justin Harmon, Casie and Riley Sawyer; great grandchildren, Cece Vineyard; sister, Gail; and many other loved ones. Family would like to recognize devoted friend, Eric Householder. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow. Burial will take place at East TN Veterans Cemetery, on Governor John Sevier Highway, on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 9:30am in the Rotunda.
