Doris was a devoted member of the Knoxville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa Sorority. She lived a life marked by dedication and service.
A graduate of Rule High School in Knoxville, Class of 1950, Doris went on to enjoy a long and successful career as a hearing examiner for the Knoxville Bureau of Hearings and Appeals. In her role, she worked closely with judges and was respected for her thoughtful decision-making and professionalism.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lydia Keck, and her beloved husband, Charles Albert Warner.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Kim Warner.
A graveside service to celebrate Doris’s life will be held on April 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Acacia May Areme Chapter #24, Order of the Eastern Star, 7539 Kays Ridge Lane, Knoxville, TN 37919.
