Dorothy J. Patterson

Patterson, Dorothy J., age 80, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Parkwest Hospital. She was a member of Blount Avenue Baptist Church. She has now joined her beloved husband, Claude (Pat), and son, Claude Murl in Heaven. She was also preceded in death by mother, Ella Mae Rutherford. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Patricia and husband, Bud Worsham; Vickie and husband Jim Wesley; Donna Patterson-Owens and husband Frank Owens; grandchildren: Stacy Worsham and wife Janet; Claude Newman Patterson; Cody Patterson; Brandon Grimes and wife Christal; Heather Butler and husband, Ernest; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Willard Rutherford and wife Jessie; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM.
