In 1960 she began teaching science on television in cooperation with the Metropolitan Educational Television Council and taught for several years.
She next was assigned to be the Director of the Student's Museum which under her leadership, expanded to the facility at Chilhowee Park. She was especially proud of the planetarium and the fantastic help from the Akima Club.
She was a member of First Baptist Church Knoxville and loved working where she could. She loved her Lord and He blessed her in so many ways. She loved her family and they loved her back. She met many people who became a part of her life. She was an amazing woman - loving much and much loved.
During the past eleven years she has been blessed by so many dedicated care givers. A special thanks go to Thomas Grubb, Alicia Eslinger, Donna Phillips, Anita Hall and Dennis and Deborah Wester.
