Mommy (Merissa Nichols) and daddy’s (Zackery Perkins) miracle, Elijah Shayden Perkins was our blessing brought into this world at Fort Sanders Hospital on January 9, 2015, weighing only 1lb 9oz and 12in long, while our precious baby boy was so tiny and not quite ready for this world. He was with us for only a short time. Elijah filled our hearts with such an indescribable love, joy, happiness and peace. Elijah was a sweet, precious, strong baby boy that we cherished our every moment with and always will cherish. Our baby boy, Elijah, was taken into the hands of the Lord to be carried to his heavenly home on January 10, 2015 at East TN Children’s Hospital, only to be greeted by so many loved ones and angels. Elijah, mommy and daddy love you so very much baby boy, and will always love you dearly, always and forever, son. Mommy and daddy will always love and miss you every day, baby. We will always carry you in our hearts and cherish you, son. You’ll always be our sweet special baby boy, son. God has great and special plans for you in heaven, son, and mommy and daddy will be with you again. We love and miss you our sweet angel. To Nanny’s little angel, Elijah, I was so blessed to have met you even for the short time God had given us with you. We cherished every moment spent with you present. You brought such joy to our hearts. We will carry you in our hearts for eternity. I love you my precious grandson, Your Nanny (Melissa Nichols).
