Your mother was such a sweet and kind lady. I always admired her upbeat ways and energy- nothing ever seemed to slow her down.
 
She was a wonderful mother to have children who have loved her, visited her, managed her needs, and cared for her after your father died until she went to the Lord.

Betty loved life.  She was grateful for all her blessings.  She truly was amazing.    

Your mom would want you all to celebrate the wonderful life she led. I'm sure she had few regrets in living the full and successful life that she did.

I know your family will find peace in recalling all the wonderful times spent together with your mom and dad.

You will all be in our thoughts and prayers and we will be thinking of you on Saturday when you are all together to celebrate your mother's life.

What a woman.  A fantastic mother,loving grandmother and an altogether fun person.  How old was she when she wanted to ride the Harley?  The actual age did not matter as she embraced all that life had to offer and wanted to jump on and ride. She was young at heart and always charming.  What a great lady who raised such loving children who took care of her right to the end. The angels have welcomed her to paradise.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of a wonderful mother and grandmother. How fortunate you were to have her for 92 years. I am sure all her family values and traditions will continue to live on in all of you. 
I will always remember how Betty loved to entertain us. I will never forget the fun we had riding in the back of the station wagon, flopping all around while she drove and swerved down the streets of Grosse Pointe, or how she let us raid her cupboards as we played "supper market sweep". She was a woman who demanded respect and obedience yet was full of fun and love. I am so happy to have these wonderful childhood memories. 
May she rest in peace now with her husband and other family members and friends that have gone before her.

It has been many years since I met Mrs. LaRose on Red Maple Lane in SCS MI.  I am so sorry for your loss....now there is another special angel in Heaven to watch over the family.  Sending loving thoughts and prayers for the entire family.

What a beautiful smile and a beautiful soul.  Grandma Betty will be loved and missed by many. Praying God comforts you and wraps his grace around you all at this time.

The whole D'Angelo family regrets hearing of the loss of "Betty", but we know she is in a better place now after 92 years of life.  How wonderful that she was in the tender care of Mary Louise and Steve at the end.  What a gift!  Joe and Dorothy go back to memories on Garland. and Rose and I share special remembrances from Red Maple Lane days.  Your family members were special friends and neighbors to us and we are grateful for all the years of friendship we shared.  We spent so many childhood days together that will never be forgotten.  Rest in peace, Betty.  We will always remember your smile and laughter.

Dear LaRose Family, and long time neighbors and childhood playmates.  
You probably never new this but when you live on Red Maple Lane, your mom loved to cut her own grass and manicure her bushes and the edging.  
As I watched her, I also learned  how to be an expert lawn caretaker, especially with the broom to get all the grass out of the cracks. No power equipment back then. Just pure muscle power from Betty,  To his day, I do it just like Betty taught me. She also loved cottage cheese, and that too she taught me to like. Betty and Tom also had a taste for fine spirits, and that too was passed on to me.
Betty last saw Mom and Dad D'Angelo in '07  Such a rekindling of old very old friends. 
 I like to remember Tom and Betty, along with my parents, Mary and Eddie, and  my daughter, Beth,  as they demonstrate continued  involvement in the spirit business, by watching over our shoulder.'s  
Wishing the extended LaRose family the treasure of all treasures which is God's Peace.

Grandma Betty is the type of person I hope to become in age: someone who keeps up with the times and does not resist change. One of my earliest memories of Grandma Betty is of her at Christmas (over a cocktail! ??) asking me about the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" show and I knew then, that this was not just a run-of-the-mill grandma, but a cool, hip grandma!! She was a very nice lady whom I will remember always with great fondness. I am honored to have had the opportunity to know her in my life.

Mom, it was such an honor to be your daughter and to be raised by such a protective and loving parent.  You always instilled in us to do the best that we could and to never settle for less.  I will never forget the times we spent together doing what you loved best - shopping - from when I was a young girl until now - the woman you helped me to become.  I miss you terribly already, but I know you have found Dad and the two of you are back in each others' loving arms.  I love you with all my heart, Mom!

Seeing Betty's picture on this site brings both a tear to my eye and a smile to my face because it's how I'll always remember her.  A broad smile with a great laugh and a big hug were her trademarks and she shared them with many.  It was an honor to have known her and she will be missed by her family and friends.  God bless you Betty.
