Emma Jean West

WEST, JEAN CALDWELL – age 83 passed away at 8:00 pm on January 31, 2011. She was a longstanding member of Bells Campground United Methodist Church in Powell. Preceded in death by parents Jesse T. and Edna Caldwell Sr., brothers J.T. Caldwell and wife Naomi of Knoxville, Harry Caldwell of Louisiana, Bobby Caldwell of Knoxville. Brothers –in-law E.R. (Bob) West, Jr. and Avery West. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 64 years, John K. West, daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Bill Storey, and Sherry and Steve Smith, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, brothers Bill Caldwell and wife Devona, David and wife Judy, sisters-in-law Jeanette Caldwell, and Barbara Caldwell, brothers-in-law and wives Imogene (Bob) West, Beryl and Elsie West, Don Ray and Jo Ella West, Jerry and Cheryl West and a very special caregiver, Patti Hall and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 8:00 pm. Rev. John Tiller and Rev. Keith Hampson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 am Friday at Weavers to proceed to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers will be Jerry West, Jason Smith, Kevin Smith, Greg Storey, Matthew Smith, and Tommy Pryse, Honorary pallbearer Jamie Belcher.
