Jenkins, Ernest Eugene – age 91, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Ernie was a WWII Veteran, and a member and deacon of South Point Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife, Carolyn (Strevel) Jenkins; step son and wife, Mike and Amy Neloms; step grandchildren, Wendy, Amy, Tyler, Sierra, and Hunter; special friend, Ron Hill. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway.
