KNOXVILLE - Evelyn Geneva McMillan age 81 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 14, 2023. She was a member of North Knoxville Church of God. She deeply loved her family, friends and feline companions and trusted Jesus above all else. Preceded in death by husband Jack Lee McMillan, son James Robert McMillan, and parents Amos and Stella Gardner. Survived by children, Jack Frederick McMillan (Ann), John Amos McMillan (Evelyn), Joel Allen McMillan and Janice Caroline Thoms (Richard); grandchildren, John David McMillan, Jacklyn McMillan, Shannon Nicole Thoms and Kristen Renee Thoms. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Friday at Weaver's Chapel with a service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Saturday at Asbury Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
