Fannie Odessa Walker, age 95, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was born January 15th, 1924 in Union Mississippi to Eugie and Grace Yates. Odessa was the oldest of 13 children. She married Earl Lee Walker and they had seven children. Odessa lived most of her adult life in Knoxville Tennessee. She was a faithful mother, grandmother, homemaker and gardener. She was known for her love of purple hull peas that she grew in her garden every year. She faithfully attended Solway Baptist Church for many years but in her later years attended Bearden Gospel Baptist Church. Odessa will be lovingly remembered by her children Bobby Earl (Carolyn) Walker, Patsy Lee (Bob) Banks, Jessie Lee Walker, Kenneth Lee Walker, Henry Lee Walker, Michael Wayne (Tammy) Walker; son-in-law Donald (Linda) Kivett, seven grandchildren, Teresa (Mark) Palmer, Lisa (Ray) Banks, Gregory Pyatt, Kimberly Kitts, Stephen Kitts, Alexander Banks, and Michael Banks; and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband Earl, daughter Linda, and grandson Ricky Kitts.
