Frances Marie Cooper

1921, in Morgan County. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother, her son-in-law, and her husband of 68 years, William Ambrose Cooper. Survivors include her children, Peggy Gregg (Mike), Loretta Robertson, Martha Thompson (David), Susan Fann, and James Cooper (Sheila), all of Knoxville, and Linda Kelly (Bob),, of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Michelle Gregg, Mitzi Bodie, Lee Rogers, Erika Gilbert, Robert Kelly, Stacy Mundy, Cody Thompson, Chris Fann, and Greg Cooper; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Doneski. Marie was a beloved and faithful member of Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church for 45 Years and of the Mary Rayfield Circle and the Fellowship Sunday Class. Her love for God and for people shone in her smile and in her compassion for everyone. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church. Burial and Graveside Service will be at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Tom Hazelwood will officiate.
