of Maryville on Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was born to Fred
and Louise McNeill on August 9, 1929 in Washington, NC on the
Pamlico River. Frances never met a stranger and loved being
with family and friends. She loved to garden and to “go places.”
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51
years, Buddy Kennedy. She will be dearly missed. Frances is
survived by her son, William B. Kennedy, Jr. and daughter-in-law
Sandra F. Kennedy and her grandson, William Bixby Kennedy, III.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from
1:30pm to 2:30pm with the funeral service following at 2:30pm
at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike,
Knoxville, Tennessee 37919. The burial will immediately follow
