A dedicated and compassionate soul, Gail devoted 58 years of her life to caring for others as a labor and delivery nurse at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Her gentle hands and steady heart helped bring thousands of lives into the world, and she was beloved by generations of families and colleagues alike.
A faithful member of Riverview Baptist Church, Gail lived a life grounded in faith, service, and kindness. She was a constant presence in her church community, offering encouragement, prayer, and support to those in need.
Gail found joy in simple things, especially the companionship of her beloved cat, Tiny, who was always by her side. Her warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, James Joseph Brown; parents, Sam and Oleva Monday and brother, Samuel Lee "Bo" Monday.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all those she touched throughout her long and meaningful life.
Family and friends will meet Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Asbury Cemetery, 5100 Asbury Cemetery Road, Knoxville, TN for a 10:00 AM Graveside Service officiated by Pastor Brock Webster.
