

Strader, Sr., Garland W. “Jack” age 72, of South Knoxville, passed away at his home, December 9, 2015. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and an avid bowler. Preceded in death by parents, John Herbert Strader, Jr., and Gladys Marie Strader; sister, Geraldine (Gerrie) Coley; brothers, Bobby Joe Strader, Sr. and Charles Ray Strader, Sr. Jack is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carlenea Strader; sons, Garland W. Strader, Jr. and wife Pamela, Tony and wife, Jamie Strader; daughter-in-law, Wenonah Taylor; grandchildren, Mackenzie Strader, Maverick Strader, and Gracie Strader; sister, Betty Miller; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Kathy Strader; brother, Glenn Strader; step mother, Beulah Ridings; sisters-in-law, Ruth Manis and husband, Eddie, Helen Coley and husband, Robert, brother-in-law, Tom Rhoades; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews; special friends, Mimi Queener and Irene Fleenor. A special thank you to Covenant Hospice, also Helen Coley for taking care of her Daddy Jack. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and a memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, December 13, 2015, in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with Rev.
