Whitlock, Rev. Garlin C., age 87, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 26, 2016 at Holston Health and Rehab. He is survived by: wife of 35 years Maxie Whitlock, stepson Daniel (Teresa) Irwin, step-daughter, Tammy (Danny) Kroner, and brother, Corky (Annette) Whitlock. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 30, from 5:30 until 7:00 at Knoxville Baptist Tabnernacle, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00, Rev. Tony Greene and Rev. Bill Whitehead officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00am on Thursday at Berry Funeral Home to travel in procession to Berry Highland South Memorial Gardens for the interment service to begin at 11:00 AM.
