Gene Howard Moses Jr.

Gene Howard Moses, Jr. – age 52, of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord suddenly January 29, 2016 at The University of Tennessee Hospital. Born in Knoxville, TN to parents Gene Howard Moses, Sr. and Lois Hopkins Moses. He was a 1981 graduate of Fulton High School. He graduated from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in 1997. He married Angela Michelle Sheppard on May 6, 1983. They were married for 27 years until her passing on December 16, 2010. They worked as a couple as missionaries for Transport for Christ and Truckstop Ministries Inc and truly loved each other. He grew up in North Knoxville Baptist Church, he is currently a member of First Baptist of Lenior City. He was currently employed with BESCO as an electrician. Preceded in death by his wife Angela Michelle Moses, his dad Gene Howard Moses, Sr., sister Karen Diane Moses, grandparents, Harvey and Georgia Moses, Jess Hopkins and Garlis Hopkins. Survivors include his children Matthew (Krista) Moses and Brandi Moses, mother Lois Moses, brother Richard (Patti) Moses, sisters Debra (Chuck) Goosie, Donna (Marty) Keith, Rhonda (James) Tarver, His fiancé Lisa Cash. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up for Matthew and Brandi. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 5-7pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7pm at North Knoxville Baptist Church 217 W. Oldham Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917 with Dr. Dick DeMerchant and Neal Denton officiating.
