FLOYD, GEORGE THOMAS "TOM" - age 83, beloved father passed away and joined his Heavenly Father on May 14, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was at home and surrounded by loving family. He was born in Knoxville on November 4, 1927. He was a proud veteran and served in the Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha Ann; parents, William Otha and Rosa Lee; brothers, Jake and Bob. Survived by daughters and son-in-law, Jeanne Sue Floyd and Vicki Ann and Jerry McCarty; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Kaye, David, and Mike and Cindy Floyd; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to caregivers Ellora and Courtney. The family will hold a small private graveside service Tuesday, May 17th.
