George Michael Huff

George Michael Huff, age 50, passed away on July 10, 2016. George was a member of George Street United Methodist Church of Jefferson City, Tennessee. George grew up in Andover Township, New Jersey and was a graduate of Sussex County Vocational High School. After graduating high school, George enlisted in the National Guard. He later moved to Florida, where he lived for several years, before moving to Tennessee. During his younger years, George was active in the Boy Scouts in Andover Borough and was also an active member of the United Methodist Church in Newton, New Jersey. A loving son, brother, and uncle, George was very proud of his family. Wherever he lived, George was very intentional about keeping in touch with his family. Preceded in death by his Birth Mother and Birth Father, Ida Koop and George Dean Huff. Survived by his brother, Walter DeFrancis of New Market, Tennessee; Aunt Audrey; and Uncle Doug; parents, Russell and Lois McCue of Andover Township, New Jersey; sisters include: Terry Thonnerieux and husband, Michael, of Port Charlotte, Florida, Pamela Milone of Newton, New Jersey, Karen Bove-Quick of Neptune City, New Jersey; nephews & nieces include: Michael Thonnerieux & wife, Sarah, Amy Thonnerieux, Erica Munoz & husband, Matt, Tracy Conn & husband, Brooks, Rebecca Schick & husband, Earl, and Austin Bove; 7 Great-nieces & great-nephews, as well as many cousins. Visitation will be July 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Jared Wood officiating.
