A faithful and cherished member of Graystone Presbyterian Church, Glenn lived a life of unwavering devotion to his family, his faith, and his community. Glenn possessed a servant's heart and exemplified the love of Christ in all he did. His warmth and genuine kindness touched countless lives, as he never met a stranger—only friends he hadn't yet made. Whether sharing a meal from his kitchen, where he delighted in preparing food for those he loved, or lending his skilled hands as a carpenter and printer, Glenn's generosity knew no bounds. His greatest joy, however, was found in the precious moments spent with his family, who were the very center of his world. An enthusiastic outdoorsman, Glenn found deep reverence in God's creation and spent many peaceful hours in nature's embrace. His legacy is one of unconditional love, selfless service, and steadfast faith.
Glenn now rejoins in eternal peace his father, G.W. Bateman; his beloved mother, Barbara Bateman; and his infant brother, David Bateman.
His beautiful legacy lives on through his devoted and loving wife, Suellen "Susie" Bateman; his cherished sons, Andrew and Bradley Bateman; his adored grandchildren, Jacob and Mackenzie Bateman; and his dear brother, Charles Bateman, and daughter-in-law, Vanessa Bateman, along with countless friends whose lives he touched with grace and compassion.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort knowing that Glenn's faith has carried him home, where he rests in the eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father.
