Hazel Denny, age 89, of South Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Atkins Denny and daughter Myrtle. Hazel is survived by her sister, Ellen Hollingshead; nephew, Harold Hollingshead and wife, Marilyn; niece Joyce Satterfield and husband Mickey, all of Canton, Georgia; very special friend, Virginia Moore and husband Charlie; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway.
