Helen “Joyce” White, age 82, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother and lifelong member of the South Knoxville community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene White; parents, Clarence and Perna Hill; son, Larry Monday; brother, Bud Burchfield, and son in law, Jerry Wilson. She is survived by her son Phillip and wife, Karen Monday; daughters, Jan Wilson, Kathy and husband, Carl McGill, Jean Kelly; brother, Gene Hill; sister, Shelia Barron; grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Amanda, Jessica, Ashley, Tyler and Aimee; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, on Tuesday, November, 15, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm.
