Iralee Darnbush

Iralee Darnbush, age 87, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 after an 11 year struggle with alzheimer's. She is finally at peace, resting with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn C. Darnbush; her parents, Ira and Mary Nell Akers; and sisters, Carolyn Haley and Linda Roberts.

Iralee is survived by her sons, Randall (Teresa) Darnbush and Darrell (Peggy) Darnbush; daughter, Pam (Chris) Spruiell; grandchildren, Chris (Jenna) Darnbush, Caitlin (Steven) Van Zant, Leah (Alex) Webster, Emily (Mac) Bowers, Audrey Darnbush, Nathan Darnbush and Christen (Drew) Shields; great-grandchildren, CJ and Tatum Darnbush, Leighton, Palmer and Anni Webster, Camille, Atlee, Penelope and Lydia Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will meet for a graveside service on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Pastor John Nipper will officiate the service. Family and friends are invited to attend a receiving of friends at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home immediately following the graveside service until 5:00 PM.
