Ivan Louis Anderson, age 85 of Knoxville, passed away October 24, 2017 at NHC Ft. Sanders. He was a member and Deacon of Third Creek Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War. Preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Nellie Mae Anderson; brothers, Frank, Joe, and Don Anderson; sister, Charlene Cauble. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth; sons, Charles (Marnie) and Michael (Susanna) Anderson; daughter, Kathryn (Walter) Cannon and Robin Anderson, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Elnora) and Grant (Fran) Anderson. Family will receive friends Friday at Weaver Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow at 7:00 pm. Pastor Rodney Duncan officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Caledonia Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
