Jack Nandee, Granddaddy Homer Atkins Jr.

Jack H. Atkins Jr. (Nandee & Granddaddy), age 69, passed away on July 1, 2016 after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was a Marksman, Private Pilot and retired as a MSgt from the USAF/TN Air National Guard 119 CACS. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #321 and a member of Amateur Ham Radio League (WA4SGR). He held a long term career in Electrical Engineering. He was a long-life resident of the Gibbs Community. He was preceded in death by parents; Jack H. Atkins Sr. and Georgia Inez Lee. He is survived by Wife, Lisa Atkins, Son, Chris (Myra) and his Grandchildren; Taylor, Justin, Emily and Rachel, Son, Trey (Heather) and his Grandchildren Georgia, Isabelle and Jessie, and Son, Todd (Jaclyn) and his Grandchildren Connor and Graham, Stepdaughter; Emily (Thomas) Henry and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madelyn and Abigail and Stepdaughter; Andrea Lawson, and Nandee’s Special Pal, Zachary Lawson. A special thanks to Fort Sanders ER, 8 North and Dr. Grapski and his office. Family will receive Friends at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home at 5315 Kingston Pike in Knoxville on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 with Chapel service to begin at 2pm.
