Jack Edward Gardner, 74, of Karns,, TN, died Friday, April 21, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Stella Gardner. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; son, Tommy (Connie) Gardner; daughter, Teresa (Bobby) Saylor; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Mitchell, Shaun Baker, Hailey Gardner, Justin and Brandon Saylor; 2 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Hallie Ault; one sister, Joyce Bradley; one niece, Andrea Clifton; 3 great-nieces, Amber, Madison and Ashton Clifton. Mr. Gardner, co-owner of Mid-South Truck & Equipment, was retired. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, camping at the lake and fishing. Many thanks go to Shannondale Healthcare and staff, Dr. Ibach and staff, Amedisys Hospice and staff. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society appreciated. Family will receive friends at Weaver Funeral Home,, Sunday, 6 - 8 p.m. Friends and family will gather Monday 1:45 at New Gray Cemetery for 2 p.m. Graveside Service.
