Ruggles, James (Gib) Gilbert, 73, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 16, 2011. Gib was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and was retired from Delta Airlines. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gib is survived by wife, Marilyn Ruggles; sons and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Jane Ruggles and Bryan Ruggles; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jim Rogers; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Wolfenbarger and Janice Haag. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 6-8pm at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Asbury Cemetery on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:45 am for an 11am interment service, Rev. David Collins officiating.
