James Ben "Jim" Slover, age 72, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away, Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Jim was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections as a probation counselor. He was a graduate of East Tennessee State University and South High class of 1966, where he made many life long friends. Jim was a member of Fort Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac "Ben" Slover and Thelma Ruth McNabb Slover and wife, Regina Marie Prebor Slover.
Jim is survived by his step daughter, Mary LeClair; granddaughters, Jessica LeClair, Emma LeClair and one great- granddaughter, Mahri.
He will be greatly missed by his family and many old and dear friends.

Family and friends will meet Monday, July 19, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
