Jane Ault

Jane Ault (Arthur) age 82 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully April 10, 2026. Jane graduated from Holston High School in 1962. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Jane retired from Knoxville Utilities Board in 2001.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Kasi Ault Shelton (Tyler); her cherished grandson, J. Lorne Miller, Jr.; her childhood-lifelong friend, Joy Wells; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends whom she adored.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, James & Lois Arthur; sister, L. Burdene Shirley; brothers, Jerry Arthur & Herman Arthur; & nephew, H. Lewis Arthur.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to South High Senior Living and Smoky Mountain Hospice for the wonderful care, kindness and compassion she received.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home, at 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11AM-1PM. The family will reconvene at Asbury Cemetery located at 5064 Asbury Cemetery Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914 for a graveside service at 3 PM. A special prayer will be offered by great-nephew James Branson, with Pastor Keith Vaughn officiating.
