Jane Marie Beeler

Beeler, Jane Hagy-born August 5, 1923, of Louisville, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. She was a graduate of Knoxville High School and a member of Lake Dale Community Church in Indiana. She had been active in Rocky Top Painters, a volunteer at the Knoxville Petting Zoo and a lifetime member of the Humane Society. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Hagy. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Earl H. Beeler; two sons, Preston and Byron Beeler; five grandchildren, Robin, Alma, Preston II, Charles Byron and Rebecca; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Jim Dowell; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Cookie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet Monday, March 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm for graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael McFarland officiating. .
