Melanie Jane Sparks, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away early Friday morning, June 10, 2016. She left this earth peacefully in her sleep after a life long struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 53 years, Jimmy Sparks; loving daughter, LeAnn Nutt; 3 beautiful grandchildren, Brady, Cayce, and Colby Nutt, whom she loved very much; special cousin, Marcia Davenport Beckler; and several loving family members. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 14, 2016 for an 11:00am graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
