Jennie Mae Hurst

Knoxville - Jennie Mae Hurst age 94 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday June 3, 2022. She was a member of South Knoxville Church of God and enjoyed activities with the 55 Plus Club. Jennie was very organized and wanted everything in it's place, had a good memory and sense of direction and loved working puzzles. She was welcomed into heaven by mom and dad, Enoch and Annalee Hurst; step-mother and best friend, Margaret Hurst; brothers, Billy Ray, Fred, Lloyd (Ronnie) Hurst; sisters, Mary Frances, Robin Lawson; brother-in-laws, Roy West Jr, Roscoe Ownby, Nathan Towe, Raymond Tinsley; Jennie is survived by sisters; Katherine Ownby, Gladys West, Carolyn Tinsley, Moquita (Raymond) McCranie, Helen Towe, Betty (Lynn) Murphy and Ginger (Robert) Long; brothers, Terry (Tami) Hurst and Marty (Lisa) Hurst; sister-in-law, Beth (Newport) Hurst; many nieces and nephews and family. The family will receive friends Monday June 6, 2022 at South Knoxville Church of God from 12-2 p.m. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Branch and Rev. Jerry Laudermilk officiating.
