

Beth is survived by her husband Dr. Chris Baker, two brothers and their wives, James S. and Lucie Bradley of Winthrop, NY., and Mark and Debra Bradley of Gaffney, SC.; a sister, Leslie Mitkusevitch of Rockford, IL .; four nieces, Sarah, Anna and Laura Bradley, Victoria Mitkusevitch, and a nephew, Joseph Mitkusevitch.
Originally from Massena New York, daughter to the late James P. and JoAnn Bradley. Beth married her husband, Chris Baker on June 3, 1995.
Beth was a Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Tennessee in German and a Certified Oral proficiency interviewer for ACTFL, and ITA testing coordinator.
Beth was a graduate of Escola Graduada (Graded School) São Paulo, Brazil. Beth attended The University Illinois, and The University of Tennessee, and graduated with Doctorate in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures.
Beth enjoyed international travel, She lived in South America and Europe and traveled extensively thoughout. She spoke fluent German and had some proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
Beth loved Persian cats and considered herself a cat mom, and was an avid gardener, photographer and reader.
JoBeth was laid to rest at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.
