Joel Sidney Touton (Sid), age 65 of Crossville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2021, at Cumberland Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Willie Jean Touton, grandson Cannon Griffin, brother Stanley Touton, and sisters Joyce Blakley, Janie Kennedy, Jenny Lou Ford, Doris Green, and Donna Taylor.
He is survived by his children Joshua Ramsey, Jacqueline (Donnie) Bell, Jessica Gillenwater, Jocelyn Griffin, Jana Touton, and Jeremy Touton; grandchildren, Teagan, Callon, Jessam, Braxton, Dadrian, Zane, Logan, Kierston, Kyler (great-grandchildren Kaylie & Kylie), Dylan, Peyten, and Paelyn; brothers Stuart Touton, Sam Touton, Scott Touton, and Steve Touton; and sisters Judy VanDyke, and Debbie Coley, and several nieces and nephews.
Sidney was born December 24, 1956. He was one of 13 children born to Robert and Willie Jean Touton where he was raised in the Karns Community. He served in the Navy for many years and worked as a carpenter for much of his career. He lived his life as a strong-willed person who always said what he thought. Sid was a proud Father and Grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren fiercely without end. His dad jokes rivaled those before him, and he never ceased to disappoint with the telling of the next. He (and his bad dad jokes) will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends Friday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with the service to follow at 7: 00 pm. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.con.

When you live in the hearts of those you love, remember then… you never die.”
