John Benton Creswell

John Creswell, 79, of Maynardville, TN went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2023. John was a loving, devoted husband, father, papaw, and grand papaw who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna. Survived by his sons, Brad and Renee Creswell, Eric Creswell and Renee of Maynardville, TN; Granddaughters Ashley and Chris Underwood of Sour Lake, TX, Lauren Creswell of Houston, TX, Brandi Creswell and Wesley, Erica Creswell and Brett of Knoxville, TN; Great Grandsons William and Alex Underwood of Sour Lake, TX, and Great Granddaughter Emeri Cooper of Knoxville, TN; Brothers David and Debra Creswell, Steve Creswell of Maryville, TN. John served in the US Air Force 52nd Field Maintenance Squadron as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls. In his later years, after retirement he had his own printing company. He loved to fish and garden and shared in the bounty of both. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Monday, April 3, 2023, at Berry Highland South, located at 9010 E. Simpson Road, Knoxville with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm, with Dr. Charles Ledger officiating. The interment will follow at Berry Highland South Cemetery in the Garden of Valor. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
