Hampton, Joseph Daniel, age 29 of Knoxville was received into the arms of Jesus on Feb 16, 2015. He attended Carter High School, and received his Associates degree while serving in the Armed Forces from which he retired as an E-4 from the 3rd Infantry Division. Joseph’s loving presence will be sorely missed by all his friends and family.
Joseph is survived by wife Kristal Gass Hampton; his daughter Alyssa Hampton; Parents Roger and Libby Hampton; sister Erin Hampton (Chaz) Cooper; brothers Tommy (Theresa) Hampton & Jason Hampton; three nephews and nieces and two great nephews.
Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday March 2, 2015 from 2-5 pm. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday at East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery on Governor John Sevier Hwy at 1:15 pm for a 1:30 graveside service
