Judy Solomon, age 65, passed away suddenly at home Saturday morning, July 5, 2015. She was a graduate of South High School and the University of Tennessee and taught for many years at Halls Elementary and South Doyle Middle School. Judy loved nature and animals, kayaking and traveling in her RV. Her kindness and compassion touched many lives. She was truly loved by everyone and will be sorely missed.
Judy is preceded in death by parents, Richard Solomon and Mildred Hancock. She is survived by special friend, Cheryl Harrel; brother, Don Solomon; nephews, Greg and Bryan Solomon; several cousins, aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow.
