Katherine Miller Brezler, age 86, of Seymour, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 with her family by her side. 'Kat' was born to Don and Ellen Miller and raised in Oak Ridge; she then enjoyed a long career in the healthcare industry. A mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she had many fun stories to tell about her life. 'Granny' never left the house without a trip to the beauty and nail salon, and she loved watching UT Football.
Kat was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ellen Miller; husband, George Brezler; sisters, Norma Cappiello and Alma Livesay; and brother, James Miller. She is survived by her son, Doug Helfenberger (Sharon); granddaughters, Kristin Braun (Scot) and Sara Monday (Zach); and great-grandsons, Levi Monday and Remi Monday.
The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home at 3704 Chapman Hwy Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 3-5 P.M. Family and friends will meet Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2:00 P.M. Graveside service with Reverend Harold Reagan officiating.
