Katherine Lee Wright (Miller) was born August 16, 1942 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She took God's hand, and he led her home Monday, July 25, 2022. Katherine left this world peacefully in the presence of her loving family. Her occupation was printing, and she previously worked for Liberty Check Printers. She was preceded in death by parents- Lawrence Miller and Ellie Adeline Miller, husband- John (Sluggo) Wright, daughter- Lisa Ervin, sons- Michael Ervin and Steve Ervin, sisters- Brenda Sweet (Ernest), Carolyn Edwards, and Vivian Scarbrough. She is survived by daughter- Tandy Wright-Strader (Jimmy Strader), son- Timmy Ervin (Sabrina), grandchildren- Mason, Landon, Gracie, Arabella, Angelia (Earl Werkheiser), Timmy Wayne, Lisa, Jasmine, Castity, Jessica, Michael, Amber, Samantha, Dakota, Chasity, Bubba, Carime, Steven, Skylar, Taylynn, and Nicole, greatgranchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Katherine was a strong, kind, and supportive person who devoted her life to those she loved. She was always doing what she could to make others happy and help in any way possible. She always put other's needs above her own. Katherine was an avid gardener who grew beautiful roses she enjoyed and was very proud of. She always had a knack for arts, crafts, and sewing. She would use her skills to create special gifts for family members. She enjoyed reading, music, making jewelry, and spending time with family. Her family loved the last days spent with her. The best part was the jokes she made and the laughs they shared. Though the loss of Katherine is difficult for her family to handle, there is comfort in the fact she knew and told them she was on her way to Heaven. She is embracing those who passed before her and watching over and guiding the rest of the family until we meet again.
The family requests that those in attendance wear something blue to honor her memory as this was her favorite color.
