Kathleen Hamilton Davis, age 86 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, July 5, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Austin Davis; parents, Brady Wheeler and Ann Duignan Hamilton; brothers, Gene and Ed Hamilton. Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Hope Davis McCalley, Leigh Ann Davis, Leslie Davis Ewers (David Ewan) Susan Davis Pate; grandchildren, Elizabeth McCalley (Dave Holmes), Erin McCalley (John Reel), Taylor Pate (Jenna), Brianna Pate Loyd (Robbie); brother, J.C. Hamilton, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday in Weaver's Chapel from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with service to follow at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Saturday, 10:45 am at Marietta Church Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to The Pat Summitt Foundation.
