

Kenny was born on July 3, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee. In his younger years, Kenny enjoyed hunting, golfing, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid fisherman who cherished his fishing buddies. Kenny retired from The Eagle Distributing Company in 2009. He was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and loved his church family.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Edward Hurst Sr. and Violet Melson Hurst as well as grandson Chase Turner.
Kenny is survived by his loving and caring wife of 45 years, Karin Stanton Hurst; daughters Tammy Turner (Chris), Terry (Dusty) Bowling; grandchildren Lindsay (Branden) Burchette, Hunter (Dallas) Bowling, Hayden Bowling (Halle), Hallie-Grace Bowling (Christian); great-grandchildren Baylor Burchette (Savannah), Jolee, and Elyn Burchette, Mckenzie Turner, Waylon Bowling; sister, Sharon Hurst (Ronnie) Johnson, and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to UT Hospice and their staff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrance be made in the form of donations to Stock Creek Baptist Church or a charity of your choosing.
