Kimberly Denise Player

June 14, 1972 – March 20, 2026

Kimberly Denise Player, a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 53. A resident of Alcoa, Tennessee, Kimberly was a free-spirited soul who found joy in the beauty of a garden and the freedom of dance. Her warmth and love of life touched all who knew her.

Kimberly is survived by her parents, Cathy Lyle Ecker and Ron Ecker; her brother, Richard (Jen) Player; her nieces, Brittany (Mike) Teasdale and Alyssa Player; and her nephews, Peyton Teasdale and Brandon Wells. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Player Jr; grandparents: Louis and Merle Lyle, and Henry and Nettie Player.

A Receiving of family and friends will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 100 S. Rankin Road, Alcoa, TN 37701, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately at 7:00 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
