Lisa Kay McCarty, age 59 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Powell. She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren playing the piano, singing and gardening. Lisa was preceded in death by parents, Billy Ray and Clara Belle Strader; brother, Michael Ward. She is survived by husband of 39 years, Michael McCarty; sons, Michael McCarty and Joshua McCarty; daughter, Samantha (Scotty) Lyndsey; 3 grandchildren, Addison, Jacob and Vada; brother, Billy (Tammy) Strader; aunt, Dorothy Janow; special niece, Kelli (Doris) Dunsmore; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and family members. Graveside service will be conducted Monday January 13, 2025 at Berry Highland South at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South Funeral Home around 2:30 p.m for committal service.
