He was a devoted family man whose greatest pride and joy was his family. Whether offering wisdom, telling stories, or simply being present, he showed his love through loyalty, strength, and unwavering support. His family knew they could always count on him.
A lifelong Tennessee Volunteers fan, he rarely missed a game and wore his orange with pride. Win or lose, he stood by the Vols just as faithfully as he stood by the people he loved.
He was an avid reader who valued knowledge, history, and thoughtful conversation. Books were a constant companion, and he believed strongly in standing firm in one’s principles. A diehard Republican, he was never shy about his beliefs and believed deeply in personal responsibility, freedom, and love of country.
Above all else, he will be remembered for his strong character, his love of family, and the example he set through hard work, devotion, and his willingness to always help others. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped and the values he passed down.
